Does this sound familiar? Dieting can be difficult, it takes self control to delay instant gratification for your long term goal. Ideally we select a "diet" that is not restrictive and fits with our lifestyle. I have touched on this multiple times, continuing on ➡️ Now there could be multiple reasons you aren't in a calorie deficit, but are you truly tracking everything? 50% of people underestimate/undertrack how much they are actually consuming (and how much activity/ daily movement they truly do!) This could be incorrectly tracking, underestimating portion size, or for the purpose of this example you aren't tracking absolutely everything. That handful of nuts when you were cooking dinner, the oil you used in your cooking, the salad dressing, the daily latte and yes licking the spoon from the peanut butter you put on your oats counts! These examples here of popular things people forget to track adds up to 470 calories! This could be a huge factor in why you are not truly in a energy deficit.
